IXICO announces two contracts in Alzheimer's disease worth £1.5 million

AD contract advancements

- Contracts reflect IXICO’s ability to unlock the value of its IXI™ technology platform across an increasing array of customer types

- News follows a FY26 trading update which exceeded revenue expectations

IXICO, a global TechBio leader in neuroscience imaging and biomarker analytics, using its AI-driven platform to help advance drug development and diagnostics in neurological disorders, today announces two contracts with a combined value of approximately £1.5 million.

The contract news follows a positive trading update made by IXICO on 20 October, which reported 28% revenue growth for FY26, and further strengthens the Company’s position in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) diagnostics and clinical development.

The first contract is with a biotechnology company to manage and analyse neuroimaging for a Phase 2b clinical trial in AD. Revenue from this contract is expected to be recognised across approximately three years.

The second win is a contract extension with an existing large international life sciences and diagnostics client. The project will continue to utilise IXICO’s proprietary IXI™ neuroimaging technology platform to support the validation and regulatory approval for a blood-based biomarker (“BBBM”) being developed to diagnose AD. Revenue from this contract is expected to be recognised within one year and expands the £16 million order book reported at the trading update.

Bram Goorden, Chief Executive Officer of IXICO, commented: “Securing these two contracts again demonstrates the breadth of IXICO’s capabilities in Alzheimer’s disease, supporting both the development of new therapeutics and the emerging generation of diagnostics. These contracts strengthen our order book and provide commercial colour to the positive trading update we made two days ago. Most importantly this is rewarding for the full team and a testament to our recognised capabilities in Alzheimer’s.”
