Trading update for year ending 30 September 2026
- 28% revenue growth expected - exceeding previous guidance
- Cash and strategy in place for continued value trajectory
IXICO, a global TechBio leader in neuroscience imaging and biomarker analytics, using its AI-driven platform to help advance drug development and diagnostics in neurological disorders, today provides a trading update for the financial year ending 30 September 2026
- FY26 revenues expected to be £8.3 million (2025: £6.5 million), beating market expectations. Year-on-year revenues increase by 28%. This additional growth exceeds the upgraded revenue guidance of 7 July 2026 (which moved revenue expectations from £7.5 million to £8.0 million), after an acceleration in analysis orders during the final quarter of the year.
- Year-end order book of £16.0 million (2025: £13.8 million) further improving revenue visibility, and prospects for future growth.
- Year-end cash of £10.4 million (2025: £3.5 million). Year-on-year increase reflects a £9.4 million (net of fees) capital raise completed in April 2026.
- Full year loss before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (“EBITDA”) is expected to improve on market expectations. IXICO is increasing investment for growth. However, the Group's revenue performance is expected to drive improved EBITDA versus existing guidance of a £1.7million loss.
IXICO’s growth is driven by momentum in the neuroscience market, increasing demand for its specialist neuroimaging and biomarker analytics capabilities, and the execution of its Innovate, Lead, Scale strategy, maximising its ability to capture the market opportunity. The Group continues to secure new clinical trial programmes, expand relationships with existing customers and diversify its revenues across neurological diseases, clinical trial phases and customer types.
Bram Goorden, CEO of IXICO, said: “This has been a year of tremendous progress for IXICO. If FY25 was a year where the Company returned to growth, FY26 saw clear acceleration of this trend thanks to disciplined execution of our strategy driving strong demand for our neuroimaging capabilities. We are winning new customers, expanding existing relationships and diversifying our business, while improving gross margins. Looking ahead, we are particularly excited by the opportunity to unlock the commercial potential of our IXI™ platform through our TechBio strategy. Supported by our recent fundraising and partnerships, we enter FY27 with strong momentum and confidence in our ability to deliver sustainable growth and create increased long-term shareholder value."
Audited results for the year ending 30 September 2026 will be announced in December 2026.
