To help us deliver our medical image analysis solutions to large clinical trials we are hiring a Azure Developer (Full Stack) on a permanent full-time capacity.
Purpose of the Role:
The Azure Developer (Full Stack) will focus on improving IXICO's IXI platform workflow engine to simplify and speed up study configuration and deployment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical solutions as a hands-on engineer, driving the development of web applications and RESTful APIs.
- Design and develop new features and reusable libraries with security and maintainability as core principles.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot issues and provide timely solutions and workarounds.
- Take ownership of codebase improvements and systematically address technical debt.
- Participate actively in team and project meetings, contributing to collective success.
- Function as a key member of a self-organizing Agile team, engaging fully in Agile ceremonies.
- Maintain high coding standards and champion engineering best practices across the team.
- Promote transparency and knowledge sharing throughout the organization.
Qualifications and skills required for the role:
Essential
Technical Expertise:
- Strong proficiency in React (substantial experience required).
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET development.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Hands-on experience deploying to Azure, including serverless architectures (Azure Functions).
- Working knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Experience with Event Driven architectures.
- Proficiency with Cosmos DB or similar NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of dependency injection principles.
- Familiarity with Azure API Management.
- Solid experience with Git workflows (pull requests, branching, merging).
Desirable
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Azure B2C directory and identity frameworks.
- Advocate for TDD, BDD, and test automation.
Experience & Methodology:
- Proven experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
Education:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent field.
