Reporting to:

Chief Financial Officer

Purpose of the Role:

The Head of Process and System Improvement is responsible for identifying, coordinating and implementing programmes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness across IXICO with the goal of achieving faster turnaround of services for the Company’s clients and sponsors, at lower cost and a higher level of quality.

The role is a senior position within the Company and will be part of the wider leadership team, reporting directly into the CFO and with regular interaction with the CEO and other members of the senior leadership team.

IXICO has grown rapidly over the last 4 years and, as a result, processes and systems developed when the Company had fewer clients, fewer transactions and fewer staff are now becoming stretched, and in some cases restricting further growth.  The Company requires an experienced and strong leader to coordinate the identification of key challenges to the efficiency and quality of output across the organisation.  To be able to articulate the opportunities of improvement identified in terms of cost (whether these be direct, indirect or opportunity costs), quality of output and in softer areas (such as team motivation) and, through implementation of established improvement processes such as Lean, six sigma and/or others, scope, analyse, plan and undertake programmes, be they system changes or other, to realise these opportunities via clearly defined implementation programmes.

The role will be central to creating a culture of process improvement.  Setting the structures by which this is achieved and devising and implementing a programme of training to embed process improvement approaches into the skill sets of individuals across the Company.

The Company measures itself against the four key values of Aspiration, Ability, Agility and Accountability. This role will set Aspirational goals for the way the Company should leverage and design its systems and processes, with a mind to the continued growth and scaling of the Company in the future.  The role will require an individual of significant Ability, as well as experience, someone able to work with Agility and be able to, through strong communication skills, bring different teams from across the Company with them as they identify and implement change.  Finally, the role requires an individual who relishes the Accountability that comes with this leadership role.
