As our team continues to grow we are now looking to hire a Associate Data Manager.

As a member of this you will be exposed to high profile projects in the field of clinical trials (e.g. Dementia, Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, psychosis). We are looking for candidates who have a background in Science, Medical Imaging, Biomedical Engineering, Neurosciences or related and are available on a full-time basis.

Purpose of the Role

The Associate Data Manager role will be responsible for executing standard and advanced data management tasks in multiple clinical research studies, including performing data checks, preparation of documentation, and execution of data transfers and reconciliations. Responsibilities include the oversight and training of junior colleagues, and contributing to the department’s procedural documents and reports. This will include the receipt and handling of data and maintenance of data management trackers and reports.

Finally, the role requires an individual who relishes the Accountability of delivering to meet internal and external customers’ requirements and timelines and maintaining compliance with the Company’s governing procedures and regulations.


  • Maintenance and improvement of daily data management trackers
  • Perform Data Admin tasks (e.g. data moves, creating users/sites)
  • Support reconciliation of external data.
  • Writing standard Data Transfer Agreements and Image Transfer Agreements.
  • Perform standard/non-standard Data and Image Transfers
  • Handling and curating /overseeing of Clinical Imaging Data
  • Handling and processing of Clinical Device Data (e.g. wearables)
  • Collate and report Data Metrics and KPI’s.
  • Perform QC on all aspects of work performed in Data Management to ensure that data quality and integrity is maintained.
  • Interact with other project team members to support the set-up, maintenance, and closure of the Data Management aspects of the project.
  • Timely and accurate management of the receipt, tracking and recording of incoming data (including those received via methods other than e-transfer [e.g. CDs]), into the appropriate database including trackers.
  • Managing the upload of data into the IXICO data platform/ project-specific database on applicable projects.
  • Administrative tasks within trials such as adding sites/users to a trial.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent data management experience.
  • 2-4 years’ Experience of working in data management essential (and within a clinical trials environment desirable)
  • Strong IT skills essential (working within cloud-based database systems desirable) and demonstrate experience of working with a variety of data formats
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team oriented and flexible; ability to function in high volume environment with competing priorities.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously under direction and prioritise workload.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (in particular Excel).
  • Ability to learn other computer systems, including databases.
