Alison Howie, IXICO's Chief Product Officer to participate in AI tech panel at the 6th LSX World Congress
We are delighted to announce that our Chief Product Officer, Alison Howie will be participating in next week's LSX World Congress, taking place in London on 4-5 February.
Alison will be participating in the keynote panel discussion entitled 'Realising AI’s potential in life sciences and healthcare' on Wednesday 5th February at 15.10 in the Enterprise 2 track.
The session will highlight the impact of AI in healthcare and drug development, with Alison sharing her insights into the opportunities and the limitations present when applying AI in drug development, and drawing from IXICO's decade long experience in harnessing AI to analyse brain scans from clinical trials to more accurately measure changes in brain structure than could be achieved through manual processes.
Alison joined IXICO in June 2018, after several years as a consultant advising on innovation, new product introduction and commercial scaleup to a wide range of clients. Prior to her time as a consultant, she worked for over 20 years in the life science and diagnostic sectors, holding a range of leadership roles, most recently with Thermo Fisher Scientific, where she served as VP Marketing and then VP R&D and Business Development. Alison has a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and an executive MBA from London Business School.
LSX World Congress gathers the founders and CEOs of innovative start-ups through to publicly listed life science giants, and everyone in between. It represents the breadth and depth of the cutting-edge research and technology driving the advances in the industry right now and in the near future.
