Giulio Cerroni


Giulio has over 35 years of experience in the life sciences sector and a track record of growing business operations in Europe, the US and Asia. Prior to IXICO, Giulio held global leadership roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc. and LGC Ltd, where he transformed the scale of LGC’s Genomics division, completing 3 acquisitions in under eighteen months. Giulio was a member of the executive leadership team responsible for the successful sale of LGC Ltd to global investment firm, KKR & Co. Inc.

Grant Nash


Grant has worked in the life sciences sector for over 15 years. In his executive director role, Grant leads the Company's Finance, Legal and IT functions. Grant joined IXICO from UK Biobank, an international health research data resource, where he had been Finance Director since 2014. Previous to this he was SVP Finance at Evotec, the early stage drug discovery CRO. Grant is a member of the Share Transaction Committee and also acts as Secretary to the Board and its subcommittees.

Robin Wolz, PhD


Robin has over 10 years of experience in the development of innovative analytics solutions in healthcare with a focus on imaging technology. Prior to IXICO, Robin held different roles at Philips in the Research and Diagnostic X-Ray divisions. Robin holds a PhD in medical imaging and computer science from Imperial College London, focused on early detection of Alzheimer's disease. He is the co-author of more than 100 publications and holds multiple patents in the field of medical imaging and AI data analytics.

Sylke Grootoonk, PhD

Vice President Alliance Management

Sylke has over 25 years of experience in medical imaging across clinical, research and industry settings with a focus on product development and service delivery. Prior to IXICO, Sylke held operational leadership roles at InHealth and Alliance Medical in the UK. In her early career with Siemens Healthineers, Sylke managed collaborations with clinical research centers worldwide. Sylke completed a PhD in medical physics while at the Wellcome Centre for Human Neuroimaging in London and holds an MBA from Imperial College London.

Lammert Albers


Lammert has over 20 years of experience in the life sciences industry. He spent his early career in research working as a Bioscientist at AstraZeneca before entering the Clinical Development side of the business. With a track record of delivering growth across North America, Europe and Asia, Lammert held global leadership roles in Genaissance Pharmaceuticals, MDS Pharma Services and PRA Health Sciences and spent 5 years as Chief Commercial Officer at Cogstate.

Elin Gangani, PhD

Vice President Clinical Operations

Elin has over 10 years of global clinical trials experience working for drug development sponsors, service providers and the UK National Health Service (NHS) facilities. Prior to joining IXICO in 2017, she led a team at Queen Mary University of London delivering large European Phase III/IV clinical trials on behalf of a sponsor.  Elin holds a PhD from University College London (UCL) Institute of Neurology, and has co-authored numerous papers on Huntington’s Disease. Her PhD was focused on the development and evaluation of biomarkers in Huntington’s Disease.
