TrialWire™ is an online tool which enables you to de-identify, organise and move your DICOM image data. It’s easy to use with no installation necessary – and it’s completely free too.
Who uses TrialWire™?
We originally designed TrialWire™ as in-house tool to allow clinical sites to securely upload DICOM data electronically to IXICO servers. It not only accelerated drug development but also saved considerable costs by avoiding courier fees.
Clinical sites use TrialWire™ to perform QC checks on the data to ensure that it relates to the correct patient and timepoint, and that it is properly de-identified.
It is also routinely used by imaging experts on a number of active imaging trials across the world as part of the end-to-end medical imaging services we offer – from site management to data analysis and management.
How does TrialWire™ work?
This easy-to-use tool is completely web based and does not require you to download any cumbersome software to use it. All you need to do is register and use a Java enabled browser.
Any image that is compliant with the DICOM standard can be transferred to and from any web enabled computer in the world. All de-identification is carried out on the local machine by the TrialWire™ applet before being transferred to another computer.
Why is it free?
We believe that no one should have to pay to simply de-identify and transfer data. By offering TrialWire™ for free to anyone in the medical imaging community, we hope to revolutionise your workflow and provide you with the ease and flexibility of transferring DICOM data electronically wherever you want.
