Image Analyst

    We are looking for associate image analysts to join our globel clinical operations team here at our offices in central London.

    As a member of the clinical operations team you will be exposed to high profile projects in the field of clinical trials (e.g. Dementia, Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, psychosis). We are looking for candidates who have a background in Science, Medical Imaging, Biomedical Engineering, Neurosciences or related and are available immediately on a full-time basis. We are open to any requests to work part-time (4 days per week).

    Reporting into Manager Image Processing


    • Initial qualitative review of images (MRI, PET, CT), identifying any problems which may affect subsequent quantitative analysis or radiological review
    • Be responsible for query management for data and image queries
    • Support and assist sites with questions and/or issues (site management)
    • Performing quantitative analysis, such as whole brain and ventricle delineation and endpoint QC’s, after suitable training has been completed
    • Providing feedback on improvements in the analysis processes
    • Performing functions assigned by Image Processing (IP) manager in accordance with SOPs and WIs
    • Understanding the role of imaging and the study protocol for assigned projects

    Essential requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree (imaging or life sciences) or equivalent scientific or analytical experience
    • Good computer skills

    Desirable requirements

    • Familiarity with a number of medical imaging modalities
    • Experience in image analysis and segmentation (particularly MIDAS)
    • Strong communication skills
    • Must be highly organised and motivated
    • Ability to work independently and in a highly regulated environment
    • Strong attention to detail and following established procedures
    • Intermediate to advanced in the use of Microsoft Office software applications and clinical data management systems
